The Process

  1. Using your input we design a paint scheme and project plan for your aircraft’s refurbishment.

  2. We then remove:

    • Control surfaces

    • Inspection panels

    • Fairings

    • Moldings

    Which are cleaned and painted separately. Once painting is completed, we reassemble your aircraft using new screws.

  3. To guarantee complete protection barriers are placed to protect all:

    • Windows, Glass

    • Plastic, Fiberglass, Composite

    • Boots

    • Antennas

    • All openings into aircraft

  4. All paint and existing finish is removed from your aircraft using a water soluble paint stripper.

  5. Your aircraft is then cleaned, remaining stripper is removed using a high-temperature pressure wash. Multiple steps are taken to remove paint and corrosion from the following parts:

    • All edges

    • Rivet Lines

    • Seams

  6. Airframe inspection is performed by A&P and IA mechanic for underlying damage or corrosion to aircraft and you will be notified of any damage found.

  7. ‘Acid Etch’ process uses an aluminum cleaner to guarantee that all residue has been removed.

  8. Modern technology epoxy primer is used to provide corrosion resistance, adhesion. In some applications, a filler primer may be recommended to repair small dents and ding .

  9. All fiberglass, composite and plastic parts are either refurbished, or replaced.

  10. Aviation finishes are applied as a final finish.

  11. Any stripes, designs N# masks and registration numbers are painted on aircraft.

  12. Our licensed mechanics will:

    • Inspect your aircraft, and make logbook entries

    • When all work is finished, your aircraft will be quality-inspected. We will verify your aircraft is airworthy and ready to be returned to service.
